Hans Heysen Exhibition
Following the amazing success of the recent 'Masterpieces from Paris' exhibition, the Diplomat is pleased to offer accommodation packages to the new Hans Heysen exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia.
Heysen (1877-1968) is one of Australia's most popular artists with legendary landscapes celebrating the magnificence of Australian fauna and the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
Comprising eighty works, including oil paintings, watercolours, drawings and prints, this new exhibit highlights Heysen's importance in the development of Australian landscape art in the twentieth century.
The Diplomat Hotel, just a short drive from the NGA, is the ideal base from which to enjoy Heysen's work and all of Canberra's famous national attractions.
