Cockington Green Gardens
Located on the northern outskirts of Canberra, Cockington Green Gardens offers visitors an amazing experience that cannot be beaten. Venture into the delightful and fascinating display of meticulously crafted miniature buildings set within beautifully landscaped gardens.
Cockington Green Gardens, run by the local Sarah family, is a Canberra institution. Originally opening in 1979, Cockington Green quickly became a landmark attraction. The park is always growing and expanding with the addition of an international display area, complimenting the original English Village gardens.
After exploring the park head indoors to the Rose Room exhibition, featuring a 34 room Dolls House, enjoy a relaxing coffee in the Parsons Nose Garden Café, or bring a picnic lunch while your children are entertained in the playground or going for a ride on the Miniature Steam Train which meanders through the gardens and villages.
For years, Canberra's Cockington Green Gardens has been a favourite attraction of guests of the Diplomat Hotel.
